Fighting literally fascism and misogyny is super important and stuff, but that shouldn't mean your personal needs have to be sacrificed or your femininity be ignored before battle.

Oppression makes us feel that we always need to be actively affecting change through protest, prayer, teaching, organizing, writing, and saying, we can’t keep expending so much energy on changing the world that we neglect taking care of ourselves.

And taking care of ourselves means knowing when to fight the system and when to focus on our own needs. It's much harder to charge head-first into the war-zone of Downtown when you aren’t feeling your best.

DO SOME RETAIL THERAPY
